This past weekend was Christmas decorating for the Lightners. We always put up our decorations BEFORE the Thanksgiving holiday. Why... because we are out of town all of turkey week and we like to return to our winter wonderland already complete.
We (actually Russ) hung lights this weekend on the house. Of course, nothing is ever easy the first time. It took us two days to get the project complete. Yip, I'll take full blame for that one. I didn't buy enough lights. Good grief. Here are some pics of Holt and Russ during the light hanging FUN! The last picture is of Holt sleeping under the tree. He was pooped from being outside... rough life!

You put your decorations up before me!! Last year we had them up just a few weeks after Halloween - usually I'm crazy about putting them up extra early. Seems that this year - I'm kind of late :)
I LOVE the pic of Holt under the tree - the best present of all (you have to say that in your cheesiest voice).
The tree picture is the best! And only in Tx can you have your baby outside in just a long sleeve t-shirt while you hang lights.
Glad you decorated.... since I'm not, we will just come enjoy your winter wonderland!
