Prayers for Peru

Our awesome friends, Joe and Lynelle Wolfe (and J-boy), boarded a jet plane today headed for Peru. They are taking 15 high school kids to Lima, Peru on a mission trip with her school, Lake Country Christian. Our church will be piggy-backing on this trip and sending 3 men to meet up with Joe. They will spend an additional week on the mission field. Please take time and pray for the Wolfe's, as well as the students and the men going from our church. If you would like to track the progress of the school trip, visit the Wolfe's blog!

I had the privilege to take them to the airport today. WOW... what a mess! And I mean that in a good way. I watched parents praying for their children; students who were giddy; sponsors who were overwhelmed; and a little boy by the name of Jairus who had no idea how his world was about to be rocked.

Charly kept Holt for 4 hours today so I could tend to the Wolfe's and be at their beck-and-call. I appreciate her so much and for the love she shows Holt. It will be so much fun when Holt is big enough to romp with Andrew and "really" play with him. She took this picture of him while he was eating some Cheerios. Her email to me simply said... "Holt is serious when it comes to food." Agreed!!
