Where's the Pencil?

That was the famous phrase of the day as we headed into Day 2 of our cabinet building. Saturday was a more productive day. Everyone awoke with their game faces on, ready to tackle the beast. Below is a picture of Holt and Grandpa. Holt had just woke up when Russ took this picture. The flash was too bright and the result was some silly faces. They're chatting about the days tasks ahead of them. 

While the boys worked, Bekah stopped by with Hannah and Julia for some fun. Us girls (and Holt) went shopping for a bit. Holt and Julia sure do love playing together. And check out the hair on that girl. Holt could use a few strands of that on his noggin. 

Okay, back to the project. By the end of Day 2 both cabinets were framed out with cabinet tops. All bead board was in place on the back walls and side walls. Framing for shelves was in place in both nooks. All shelving had been cut and ready for installation. Whew, what a day.
