From our family to yours... we say goodbye to Old Man Winter. What a crazy one it was for us Texans. Here's a friendly recap of what we experienced in Tejas this year.
1. We brought home Marin Shea on December 2, 2009. And yes, it snowed that morning. Russ got a great video of it on his phone from our hospital window. Let me know if you need proof. Or you can just ask the Arkansas fam that was at our house... waking in awe!!
2. It started snowing in Texas BEFORE it started in Arkansas on Christmas Eve. I was upset thinking we had left this hot state and oddly missed out on a White Christmas. But it soon found us.
3. We set a record back in February for snowfall. That was crazy, fun, and weird all at the same time.
4. We received a weird dusting just a few weekends ago.
And with that, we say goodbye to winter and hello to summer. In Texas we skip spring all together and just spin right into HOT and MORE HOT!!
