Holt and his cousin were born 5 days apart, back in June of 2008. It's crazy to think they will be 2 in a little over a month. There was nothing more special than sharing my first pregnancy with my sister. And it was even more awesome when we both ended up with little farts... I'm sorry, I meant to say "boys"! So sorry! Okay, back to the story. It is unfortunate that these two do not live close by each other. Oh the trouble they would get into. It always takes them at least a day to get warmed up to each other... but after that time period, look out world. They are great and I hope will be great friends as they grow together.
These pics are a couple months old. But please enjoy the sequence of photos here as we tried to get their pic one morning before church. So funny!
Shot #1: Russ was capturing the memories and everyone else was yelling at them to "look at the camera"! Wait a minute. Aren't we headed to church? This should be a fun morning, right? Check out Holt's attitude! GREAT
Shot #2: "Okay boys, if you aren't going to smile... at least act like you like each other." It went something like that, I'm sure. Nice hug Holt.
Shot #3: Okay, everyone's back to normal and has ironed the wrinkles out of their clothes. Let's try this again. And the result... the classic deer in the headlights look.
Shot #4: At this point I think EVERYONE was yelling at them. Oh look, we got Holt to smile and Brady has the same look as the rest of the photos. What a good boy! But the best part is how we got Holt to smile. We had nothing to do with it... HE BURPED! It was rockin' awesome!
Awww, we can all breathe now. Wasn't that just down right entertaining. Love these two little men and can't wait to dig these up when they start bringing girls home... together!! Smile.
