* Holt and Russ pray together at bedtime. The prayers follow a similar pattern of repeating words and phrases. Lately, Russ has been beginning the prayer time and then prompting Holt to join in and pray. Here is how it goes...

R: Thank you for my house
H: ---- house
R: Thank you for my toys
H: ---- toys
R: Thank you for mommy
H: mommy, Marin, daddy, mommy, Marin, daddy, mommy, Marin, daddy, mommy, Marin, daddy, AMEN
It's so sweet! He just repeats our names over and over.
* EVERYTIME we leave a store, or restaurant, or the park, or anywhere... I'll get Holt buckled in and we get started down the road. And EVERYTIME he says "mommy, I don't wanna go home and take a nap." Hah!! My son knows me too well. However, it's funny when he says this after leaving church on Wednesdays at 8:00pm.
* He's becoming such a sweet, big brother. When Marin screams like a wild woman, he'll run and find her paci and cork her. Hah!! He loves to parent her by asking if she wants a spankin' or telling her she's "too little" for this or that. He says repeatedly during the days, "no Marin, momma said no more." But he's such a big help with trying to get her to talk. He holds up her animal book and will sit in front of her and tell her to say the animal's names. So fun!!
* And finally, he swallowed some of his toothpaste the other night (like every night) and said "YUMMY, YUMMY JUICE WATER"! I could hear Russ cackling from the bathroom. So he says it everytime he brushes his teeth now. YUMMY, YUMMY JUICE WATER!!!!!!
