What we needed most... some R&R to start the new year off! Yip, we needed some renewal and relaxation. So we jumped in the car and headed to Glorieta, New Mexico for a few days. Some of you might be thinking... WOW, can't believe 10 hours in the car with a 7 month old sounds relaxing to you. Well, it did and it was.
We drove the first evening to Amarillo and called it a night. It was not a late night for Russ and I... but Holt on the other hand was exhausted. The next morning we had to wake him up to eat breakfast. We even tried moving him from his pack and play to the bed to wake him. NOPE, didn't work. He was still asleep at 10:00. Poor little man.
