A Family That Plays Together...

We like sports! Don't most people? You can catch our TV tuned into some sporting event at least 5 out of 7 nights of the week. It's easy TV watching... you know, the come and go type where it doesn't matter if you miss something... and for the most part kid friendly. But we really like sports, especially the kind we can watch in person.

We love the Rangers! Okay, shall I back up a little here... Russ loves the Rangers and the KC Royals! Those were his favorite teams growing up. So, yip...we headed out to Rangers stadium to catch all of them in action. It was a toss up of who to root for... but come on... Mr. CJ Wilson was on the mound and you have to root for the home team.

This is a horrible picture, but Russ had to catch my allergy eyes in full force. Check out that redness. I was pretty miserable until the sun went down.

Holt had a great time. Note: If you plan to do this with little ones (especially little ones under the age of 2)... go cheap and high. We had an entire row to ourselves for Holt to run.

Oh, and we enjoyed free fireworks. They turned out all the lights in the stadium (scary much, especially on the third level). To sum it up... Holt was scared. But Russ looks like he just won the lottery.
